Editor's Note [Positives]
  • Beautiful, premium, full metal unibody design, which is rare to find in this price segment
  • Very good build quality
  • Feels light and easy to use, with good ergonomics
  • Good display with good colors and sharpness (although brightness levels could have been better)
  • Pleasant looking eUI skin on top of Android
  • Excellent, top-class performance
  • Decent fingerprint sensor
  • Decent camera in well lit conditions
  • Good loudspeaker
  • Decent battery life
  • Fast charging support
  • Well-built metal body, with good ergonomics, which makes a little bit easier to handle compared to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3
  • Premium looking, suave design
  • Delightful, sharp display with excellent color reproduction, and Gorilla Glass 4 protection
  • Leeco's eUI over Android is neat, and uncluttered
  • Sublime performance, powered by the Snapdragon 652 and 3GB of RAM, which put it right on top in this price bracket, along with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3
  • Leeco's content services are well integrated, and the free 1 year subscription is a pretty nice value-add
  • The Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) technology introduced with the phone uses the USB-C interface to drive audio tracks to headphones with more power, higher bit rate and lesser signal noise, thereby providing high resolution, nearly lossless audio
  • Accurate fingerprint sensor
  • Quick-charging battery
Editor's Note [Negatives]
  • Camera low-light performance is average
  • Battery life is good, but not as good as it's top competitor - the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3
  • Camera is good, but not as good as the Moto G4 Plus, which is the top camera phone in this price bracket
  • You will need to use CDLA compliant USB-C headphones to actually derive the benefit of the lossless audio technology (instead of using standard jack headphones with the bundled USB-C to 3.5mm jack adapter)
  • You will not be able to charge the phone at the same time as listening to music, which could be an inconvenience
