Editor's Note [Positives]
  • All-metal body, with a solid, premium feel
  • Nice, vibrant, large display
  • Fast fingerprint sensor at the back
  • Lenovo's UI over Android is pretty decent and comes with 'Secure Zone' that enables the user to keep some content and apps away from prying eyes
  • Decent performance - handles multi-tasking, gaming and switching between apps fairly smoothly sans any heating issue
  • Decent cameras - stills quality is acceptable although it could have been better
  • Video recording too is with an acceptable level of detail and clarity, though nothing great
  • The dual speakers, equipped with Dolby Atmos, are pretty decent, and do well in daily tasks
  • Audio output is clean
  • Boasts of a huge 4, 000 mAh battery that actually delivers - comfortably lasts a day, and can generally last 2 days too with light to moderate use
  • You can also get an Ant-VR headset bundle with the phone at an additional cost of Rs 1, 299 for enjoying TheatreMax
  • Metal unibody design makes for a premium feel, and good looks
  • Compact 5-inch form factor, with a slight curve on the back, makes it easy to hold - people who like (relatively) smaller phones will appreciate the design
  • The full HD display is crisp and vibrant, and has decent sunlight legibility
  • Lenovo has kept the UI close to stock Android, which is a good thing and keeps things clean and swift
  • Decent overall performance - multitasking is not an issue especially if your main use case is browsing the Internet, and watching videos - heavy games like Asphalt 8 do tend to lag a bit though
  • Heat management is excellent with the phone not heating up even when put under stress
  • Decent rear camera - in bright daylight, pictures come out nice, and colors are natural - low light performance is pretty average though
  • Decent front 8MP camera - capable of clicking some good selfies
  • TheatreMax support for VR
  • Good audio quality with Dolby Atmos support - especially if you use your own high quality headphones
  • Excellent battery life - with moderate use, the phone can last up to 2 days
Editor's Note [Negatives]
  • At 169 grams, the K6 Note is a bit on the heavy side
  • The performance is decent, but falls behind the competition from the likes of Xiaomi
  • Mediocre bundled earphones
  • No fast-charging support - so the phone takes quite some time to charge the big 4, 000 mAh battery
  • Although overall performance is pretty decent, it falls a little behind its top rival - the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3
  • Lenovo has kept the speakers at the back, which means that if you place it flat on a table, the sound is muffled, even with Dolby Atmos mode on
  • Lacks fast-charging support
