Editor's Note [Positives]
  • Rugged, and good looking design
  • The curved back fits well into the palm and due to the coarse plastic finish, it really feels good to hold
  • Decent display with accurate color reproduction, good brightness levels, adjustable color temperature and an in-built blue-light filter
  • Gorilla glass protection on the display
  • Smooth, effortless performance, including with resource intensive games
  • Excellent, super long lasting battery, that can deliver up to a 2-3 day backup!
  • Also includes a Power saver mode, which adjusts processor performance, screen brightness and restricts access to features that use up more battery
  • Unique reverse charging support - can be used to charge other devices
  • Decent loudspeaker, and audio quality
  • Beautiful, premium, full metal unibody design, which is rare to find in this price segment
  • Very good build quality
  • Feels light and easy to use, with good ergonomics
  • Good display with good colors and sharpness (although brightness levels could have been better)
  • Pleasant looking eUI skin on top of Android
  • Excellent, top-class performance
  • Although the processor is a tiny downgrade from the LeEco Le 1s (down to 1.85GHz from 2.2 GHz), the actual difference is performance is negligible
  • Decent fingerprint sensor
  • Decent camera in well lit conditions
  • Good loudspeaker
  • Decent battery life
  • Fast charging support
  • Free bundled LeEco Membership package for a year which provides access to Live TV, curated video, 5TB cloud storage, and music services from LeEco
Editor's Note [Negatives]
  • Feels bulky, and tips the scales at over 200g
  • Visibility under bright light is average due to the reflective nature of the screen
  • The Zen UI is a bit cluttered and sometimes buggy (although highly customizable)
  • Average camera
  • Charging speed is on the slow side
  • Camera low-light performance is average
  • The LeEco content services are quite tightly integrated into the interface, so if you're never going to use the provided content or cloud storage, these apps will just get in your way and it might be better to choose the vanilla Le 1s
