2-minute Review [Positives]
  • Beautiful, premium, full metal unibody design, which is rare to find in this price segment
  • Very good build quality
  • Feels light and easy to use, with good ergonomics
  • Good display with good colors and sharpness (although brightness levels could have been better)
  • Pleasant looking eUI skin on top of Android
  • Excellent, top-class performance
  • Although the processor is a tiny downgrade from the LeEco Le 1s (down to 1.85GHz from 2.2 GHz), the actual difference is performance is negligible
  • Decent fingerprint sensor
  • Decent camera in well lit conditions
  • Good loudspeaker
  • Decent battery life
  • Fast charging support
  • Free bundled LeEco Membership package for a year which provides access to Live TV, curated video, 5TB cloud storage, and music services from LeEco
  • Good build quality
  • Good looking smartphone, which feels good to hold as well
  • Good, sharp display with vibrant colors, and good viewing angles
  • Lenovo's UI on top of Android is pretty decent
  • Good speed/performance, backed by 3GB of RAM
  • Good camera for still photography
  • Excellent audio performance, one of the best in this category, with two Dolby Atmos enabled speakers at the back, as well as great sound quality via headphones
  • Decent battery life
2-minute Review [Negatives]
  • Camera low-light performance is average
  • The LeEco content services are quite tightly integrated into the interface, so if you're never going to use the provided content or cloud storage, these apps will just get in your way and it might be better to choose the vanilla Le 1s
  • Display lacks Gorilla Glass protection
  • The metal rim on the sides are the back are prone to scratches
  • Video recording quality of the camera is affected by an over eager auto-focus
