2-minute Review [Positives]
  • Good build quality
  • Solid metal unibody design and brushed metal finish - feels good to hold
  • Smaller and slimmer than the K4 Note
  • Bundled clear cover for protecting the phone
  • Good display - solid brightness levels, contrast ratio, sunlight legibility and viewing angles
  • Display has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection unlike the K4 Note
  • Lenovo‚Äôs Vibe UI is clean, and at the same time adds some useful features on top of Android
  • Good speed/performance, including with games
  • Multitasking is smooth too, thanks to the ample RAM
  • Built-in support for VR glasses, similar to the K4 Note (ANT VR headset has to be purchased separately)
  • Decent, fast rear camera, for daylight shots - macro shots are good too and HDR shots came out well
  • The 8MP front-facing camera is good for selfies and video chats - colors are vibrant and the images are sharp as well
  • Fast fingerprint sensor
  • Thanks to Dolby Atmos, Wolfson WM8281 audio codec and 1.5W speaker, loudspeaker output is good and clear even in full volume
  • Audio output through headphones is decent as well
  • Good call quality
  • Very good battery life - a definite improvement over the K4 Note - easily lasts a full day
  • Useful power saving modes to further reduce battery consumption
  • Good looking phone, with a pleasing design and form factor - with a metal unibody design and a sturdy build
  • Slim, sleek and feels great in hand
  • Decent display, with vibrant colors (resolution is on the low side though)
  • Runs an almost stock-like Android interface keeping things nice and simple
  • Decent performance - no hiccups or slowdowns in regular use - you can play casual games, watch YouTube videos, browse the web, take pictures and the phone still holds well - however, it will struggle with high-ends games
  • Delivers clear, sharp sound through a single, bottom-mounted speaker
2-minute Review [Negatives]
  • Hybrid dual SIM slot lets you either use dual SIMS or a memory card, but not both together
  • No special support for quick charging unlike some of its competitors
  • Low-light camera performance of the phone is strictly average - with plenty of noise in the shots
  • The 13-megapixel rear camera on the Eluga Mark 2 is average - focusing is not ideal, and colours are muted as well - low-light photographs are disappointing too
  • Average battery life - even with a 720p display and a not-so-powerful processor, the phone struggles to last 7 hours by the end of a working day
