2-minute Review [Positives]
  • Basic, simple, plastic-based design, with the back panel sporting a metallic finish
  • The compact size, curved edges and rounded corners make this phone easy to hold in one hand
  • Sports a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner making it one of very few smartphones in this price range to offer this feature - the fingerprint scanner is also fairly accurate
  • Decent display - has decent contrast and decent viewing angles
  • Almost stock Android UI keeps things nice and simple with very little bloatware
  • Good solid hardware with the reliable Snapdragon 425 powering the performance - in daily use, there is no lag or stutter (of course there will be relatively long load times for heavier apps and games)
  • Good thermal management of the processor
  • Good battery life - slightly better than it's top competitor - the Redmi 5A - lasts the day comfortably
  • On the whole, the 10.or D is a decent alternative to the Redmi 5A, and even has one advantage over it - the presence of a fingerprint sensor
  • Good build quality - solid, premium, and feels good when held in hand
  • Accurate fingerprint sensor at the back
  • Dedicated dual SIM tray with a separate microSD card slot on the left - unlike some of the competitors that offer Hybrid Dual Sim
  • Good 5.5-inch IPS 2.5D HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection - good brightness levels, good color reproduction, good viewing angles
  • Almost Stock Android UI keeps things nice and simple - the only added apps are from Amazon such as Amazon Shopping, Prime Video and Amazon Kindle, and a 10.or care app for customer service from the brand
  • The 10.or Care app helps you to diagnose various parts of the device including a battery, RAM, Wi-fi and more - with this app, you can also book for mobile repair, get the service estimates and you can also get in touch customer care either through call or email - the integrated service support is definitely a plus point
  • Good day-to-day performance powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 - the chipset is good for casual usage ranging from browsing the internet, listening to songs, chatting and watching videos (it is not meant though for intensive gaming or multi-tasking between heavy apps)
  • Decent rear camera - picture quality during daylight condition is good with right amount details and clarity - macro shots are especially good
  • Decent front camera for selfies - the inclusion of the front flash helps with photography at night
  • Good call quality
  • Decent loudspeaker, and decent audio quality through headset
  • Excellent battery life - with moderate use, it goes on for 2 days
  • On the whole, for day-to-day use (minus intensive gaming), this is a solid all-round device
2-minute Review [Negatives]
  • The smartphone is quite thick at 8.98mm and weighs 150gms which makes it heavier and slightly bulkier than the Xiaomi Redmi 5A
  • The position of the power button requires you to stretch your thumb to reach it
  • There is no ambient light sensor, so you will have to adjust brightness manually as needed
  • No scratch protection on display - so you will need to use a screen protector
  • Multi-tasking performance is not that great with 2GB of RAM
  • Average rear and front cameras - the landscape shots lack detail, the output is dull, the camera is slow to detect exposure and lock focus, low light shots are poor - like other phones in this price segment, the camera performance is mediocre at best
  • Charging speed is on the slow side - over 3 hours to go from 0 to 100%
  • The bottom bezel is quite large and looks awkward without any physical or capacitive button on it
  • Due to the reflective display, the sunlight legibility is average
  • The rear camera is pretty good in daylight, but could have been better in low light
  • No fast charging support - so it takes over 2 and half hours to charge the phone
