- Premium, stylish glass-sandwich design - two glass sheets joined by an anodized aluminum frame
- The back has a nice gradient effect - there's a subtle "X" pattern if you shine a light at it
- Cold glass, colder metal, all curved and melded into one another, the Realme X2 Pro feels great in hand
- Excellent, fast in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock
- Beautiful, large, bright, vibrant OLED display, with a cool 90Hz refresh rate - the best display panel you will get at this price point
- The 90Hz refresh rate means everything feels super snappy on the phone - from UI animations, webpage scrolling, to games
- The screen also delivers HDR10+ support and a bunch of colour modes too, as well as a dark mode to take advantage of the OLED’s inky blacks
- ColorOS is now more streamlined (and less bloat-y) than before, and still packs a bunch of useful add-on features, like Game space
- Top-end flagship performance with the Snapdragon 855+ beast at the core (the cheapest phone with the flagship 855+ at present) - the X2 Pro steamrolls through anything you throw at it, including high-end games
- Gaming on the phone is especially a treat, also because of the 90Hz screen
- Nice, versatile quad camera setup: 64MP primary + 13MP telephoto + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP depth sensor
- In daylight, the 64MP camera can grab some great shots - detail is great and dynamic range is fair
- Very good portrait mode
- The ultra-wide, and macro modes provide for some interesting framing options (though quality wise, they are not quite up there with the primary camera)
- The telephoto lens is capable of 2X optical zoom, 5X hybrid zoom, and a total of 20X digital zoom - and, up to 5x zoom, the quality is pretty good, especially in good lighting conditions
- Very good video capture with impressive electronic image stabilisation from the main camera - comparable to much more expensive phones
- Good selfie camera too - its 16MP resolution captures detailed shots, and it shoots at up to FullHD video
- Overall, the camera setup on the X2 Pro is very good for the price bracket, but it's not the best (Redmi K20 Pro, and Oneplus 7T do slightly better)
- Excellent Dolby tuned stereo speakers - they are both loud and hard to cover up - listening to music on the phone is a joy
- Very good battery life with a large 4000mAh battery - will give you up to 1.5 days of use with moderate usage
- Includes crazy-fast 50W fast charging - the fastest in the industry till date - even beating top-end flagships like the Mate 30 Pro and Samsung Galaxy Note 10 (by a massive margin) - it goes flat to 100% in just 30 minutes!
- The X2 Pro is a smashing entry by Realme in the flagship space - it's crazy good value for money, completely changes the affordable flagship landscape, and is a power user's dream - as long as you are ok with a not-the-best-at-this-price-range camera, it will be hard to do better than the X2 Pro

- A bit beefy at 199g and 8.7mm thick
- Like all glass backs, this one too is slippery and attracts fingerprints and smudges
- It's still not as clean/simple as stock Android of course - very few custom skins are
- Low light performance and the night mode aren't that great, with the lack of OIS
- If you do want the best-camera-for-the-buck, or a notch-less screen however, consider the Xiaomi's Redmi K20 Pro - and if you are really keen on a clean, stock like Android experience, consider the OnePlus 7T (at a slightly higher price point)
