2-minute Review [Positives] |
- Charming, fresh rear design - the Narzo 20 Pro features a shimmery V-pattern on the glass-like plastic rear back, which gives it a premium look
- The front is identical to the Realme 7 with a hole-punch and thin bezels all around
- Even though it uses plastic for the frame and back panel, the Narzo 20 Pro feels well-built and sturdy
- Face unlock and the side-mounted fingerprint sensor are quick
- The Narzo 20 Pro gets the same large 6.5 inches IPS LCD as the Realme 7 - it can get very bright, and colours are nicely saturated
- The display supports up to 90Hz refresh rate which makes for a smooth experience - games that support 90Hz displays, like Alto's Odyssey, are particularly enjoyable to play
- Software on the Realme phones is much improved since the company switched to Realme UI, it is easy to use - it is also packed with features such as Digital Wellbeing, Focus Mode, Dark Mode, and Riding Mode among others - there are some exciting and useful features like Realme Dual-Mode Audio, which allows you to connect a Bluetooth and a wired headset at the same time to listen to music on the smartphone
- Rapid performance from the new MediaTek Helio G95 chipset - the SOC performs similar to the Helio G90T with an updated GPU, so apart from smooth regular usage, you would be getting a boost in your gaming sessions
- Decent quad cameras at the back - the main unit boasts a 48MP sensor, with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP micro and a 2MP depth sensor
- The main camera produces sharp images, deep colours, all of which are certainly more than good enough for quick posting on social media
- The ultra-wide camera captures a wider perspective but details and colours are weaker compared to the main sensor as expected
- Portrait shots generally look good, and you get the option to adjust the background blur before shooting
- Low light photos look decent - shots captured using Night mode look more pleasing
- The 16MP camera can take decent selfies - The selfie portrait mode is useful as it manages to correctly crop out the background, and there's also Night mode for bright selfies even in the dark
- Videography is smooth and largely nondescript - it can record up to 120fps slo-mo
- Very good battery life from the 4500 mAh battery - even with medium to heavy usage, it will get you a day and half of runtime on one charge
- Best is class 65W SuperDart Charging - you get 70 percent in just under 20 mins, which is really helpful in most cases and insane for this price
- The Realme Narzo 20 Pro is a good overall mid-range smartphone, it's a good enough refresh with its larger battery - overall performance is very good, battery life is excellent, and best is class 65W charging is something to consider Narzo 20 Pro when buying a new phone
- If you prefer a phone is really good cameras, you can skip the Narzo 20 Pro and rather go with the Realme 7, which offers better cameras and similar other specs

2-minute Review [Negatives] |
- The Narzo 20 Pro is fairly thick at 9.4mm and heavy at 191 g
- There are still several pre-loaded apps however (though most of these can thankfully be uninstalled)
- The 2MP macro camera is not great, and even photos taken in broad daylight look quite poor
- Overall, the cameras on the Narzo 20 Pro aren't bad at any means, but they aren't the best, which is expected from Realme
