Design
- The smartphone is pretty compact to hold, and has a good build quality
- Wielding the PadFone mini (with the phone in the tablet dock) in one hand is a little cumbersome due to the bulge on the back
- The differences in the design languages of the smartphone and tablet portions make it seem as if two separate devices have been strapped together, instead of making a product which is more cohesive
Display
- Decent display on both the smartphone unit, and the tablet dock - bright, with good viewing angles
Software
- Nice custom UI (similar to the Asus Zen series) on top of Android
Performance
- Decent performance in day-to-day use
Camera
- Apps requiring a front camera such as skype, hangouts etc don't open in the tablet mode, as the tablet dock lacks a front camera
- Camera lacks flash
Audio
- Good call quality and signal reception
- Decent loudspeaker
Battery
- Poor battery life for both just the smartphone, as well as the tablet combo
More
- Unique 2-in-1 device
- Tablet dock too supports voice calls
