Design
- Good build quality with aluminum inner frame for higher stability
- Good ergonomics - soft matte rear texture offers good amount of grip and good in-hand feel
- Beautiful design with large screen to body ratio and metal band around the edges
- Excellent, accurate fingerprint scanner
- There's also Coolpad's Xploree keyboard, with its integrated Yahoo search and tracking that displays targeted ads which can be annoying (although this can be disabled)
Display
- Good display - bright, vibrant, and has decent sunlight legibility
- Display resolution is higher, but colour accuracy is not the same as the original Coolpad Note 3
Software
- The CoolUI on top of Android lacks finesse
Performance
- Good speed/performance
- The performance too is a step down from the original Coolpad Note 3, and the GPU seems under-powered to handle a 1080p screen, which means gaming performance specifically suffers (the general performance is pretty decent though)
Camera
- Decent camera - takes good looking vibrant images, with good detailing in close-ups
Audio
- Very good audio quality
Battery
- Good battery life
