Design
- The phone is a stunner - sports a beautiful, premium glass body design - arguably, in this price segment, this is the best-designed phone that money can buy
- There is no camera bump at the rear of the device which makes the back of this device seamless and comfortable to hold
- There is also a fingerprint sensor at the back that nicely integrates with the body shell of the phone
Display
- Good 5.2-inch display - is bright and offers great viewing angles as well
Software
- Huawei's EMUI is significantly improved from before, and works smoothly - it also has some useful add-ons like floating dock, motion control, and one-handed UI
Performance
- Good, solid performance throughout - has more than enough firepower that you'll need for your daily usage, with no heating issues, or app crashes
- There is also 4GB RAM on offer and the RAM management on the Honor 8 Lite is better than many of its competitors
Camera
- Decent rear camera - the camera app is easy to use and does offer some great software add-ons like HDR, Document Scan, Panorama, Light Painting, Time-lapse, slow-mo, watermark and Audio Note
- The front 8-megapixel camera is pretty good too
Battery
- Pretty good battery life - lasts the day even with heavy use
- Comes with a standard micro USB for charging and data transfer, instead of the more modern USB-C protocol on some of it's competitors
- Doesn't support fast charging, which is again present on some of its competitors
More
- Comes with an extended 15 month service warranty, with door pick-up and drop service
