Design
- The device is curved around the edges which makes it comfortable to hold
- Thanks to the compact size of the phone, the power and volume buttons are easy to reach too, and the overall dimensions of the Aqua Lions X1+ make it easy for one-handed use
- The phone is a fingerprint magnet
- The overall construction too is plasticky and doesn’t feel premium
Display
- The highlight of the phone is the shatterproof display, which could be a pretty good thing to have if you are clumsy with your phone and don't like using cases - additionally Intex also offers a one-time screen replacement warranty for a year
Software
- Stock Android UI keeps things nice and simple (although there is a lot of preinstalled bloatware apps - that can thankfully be uninstalled/disabled)
Performance
- Average performance - you will notice lags in navigation, loading times of apps, and in games
Camera
- Selfie flash is somewhat useful in low light
- Pretty average cameras too - in the the rear camera, objects at a distance lack detail, there is chromatic aberration, focus time is slow, and low-light shots have aggressive noise reduction and images don’t appear as sharp - in the selfie camera too, selfies appear grainy on zooming in a little
Battery
- Battery life is average too - you will be only able to get through one working day with light to medium usage, otherwise you will need to keep the charger handy
More
- On the whole, it's only if the shatterproof display makes a lot of sense to you that Lions X1+ may be worthwhile, but for most users, better value for money devices like the Redmi 4 are much better choices
