Design
- Well-built
- Metal body with 2.5D glass on the front - looks decent, though nothing exceptional
- Useful add-ons include the Around screen (to quickly order food and cabs), and the Secure Vault (to store private photos, and notes, and access via the fingerprint scanner)
- The protruding borders on the fingerprint scanner/home button may feel a little too sharp and uncomfortable
Display
- Nice full-HD display, with decent levels of color and sharpness
- Auto brightness is a little sluggish when it comes to moving from indoors to outdoors
Software
- UI is simple and close to stock Android
- Lot of pre-loaded applications add to the bloat and the notification spam (though they can be uninstalled)
Performance
- Overall, the performance of the Evok Note isn’t really up to the mark - there are bugs, app crashes, as well as instances of some apps taking too long to load
Camera
- Decent rear camera, in good lighting conditions
- While the rear camera is decent in good light, in low light the quality deteriorates rapidly with evident noise and lack of focus
- Average 5-megapixel front camera
Battery
- Not that great battery life, even with the 4000 mAH battery - the battery tends to reach to the critical 15 percent level in roughly 7-8 hours of moderate use
- No quick charging support
