Design
- Beautiful, refined exterior - aluminum and glass, brushed and curved to match the elegant styling of many 2016 flagships - one of the best designed phones of 2016
- Excellent overall build quality with all-aluminum 6000 series alloy body
- Both 2160p and 1080p videos have plenty of detail and smooth capture at a stable 30 fps - there is also a high frame rate mode that works great - although audio could be captured with better quality
Display
- Stunning, eye-catching bezel-less look
- Bright 5.5-inch IPS display - with good contrast and sunlight legibility
Software
- Nubia UI 4.0 over Android is colorful, vibrant and more streamlined than before
- The Nubia UI is improved from before but little things like bad English translations are still present, and it is not as simple and clutter-free as stock Android UI or the Oxygen UI of OnePlus
Performance
- Performance is smooth and effortless (although the hardware is underutilized and capable of a lot more)
Camera
- The camera UI is clean and intuitive and still images show good quality overall
Battery
- Battery life is very good
More
- On the whole, the camera quality is not too far behind that of the excellent OnePlus 3
- Music player is good and has FLAC and lyrics support
- Video player handles videos well - both x264 and x265 work, as well as AC3
- On the whole, while the Z11 is a pretty great phone overall, it gets edged out right now by the excellent OnePlus 3, with a more consistent camera and a simpler UI
