Design
- Classy design, flagship-grade build quality
- Water-resistant/Dust-resistant with IP68 rating
- Fast/accurate fingerprint reader embedded in the home button
- The glass back is inevitably prone to fingerprints, and is slippery
Display
- Excellent 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display - bright, vivid, and visible in the sun
Software
- TouchWiz, Samsung's interface is functional and feature-rich, and now also sleeker
- Also includes Samsung Pay, Samsung's new mobile payment interface, which is pretty useful and can remove the hassle of using physical debit/credit cards
- No LED notification light
Performance
- Pretty good overall performance (though not flagship-class), backed by a pretty efficient chipset
Camera
- Decent rear camera (same as Galaxy A7) - gives out good, balanced results especially in daylight
- The 16MP selfie camera (same as Galaxy A7) produces decent results too (but its focus is fixed way too close, so you're forced to choose between wide coverage or images that are simply not in focus)
Audio
- Decent loudspeaker - it's nice and clear at maximum volume too
Battery
- Superb battery life, posting excellent numbers in all battery life tests - should last you a full two days with moderate use
- Quick charging support
More
- Comfortable size, nice heft
- 1080p video quality is pretty decent too, so is the audio that accompanies it
