Design
- Well built
- Looks cheap and utilitarian, compared to the much more premium designs of its competitors
- The dimensions are a tad too big, at least for people with small hands
- No fingerprint sensor
Display
- Display on the J7 falls short of expectations - colors are a little off, it's a bit on the dim side, and lacks an auto-brightness setting
- No Gorilla glass protection on the display
Software
- Also lacks notification LED, gyroscope and a magnetometer or magnetic sensor
Performance
- Quite good at heat management - doesn't heat up even when put under a lot of stress
- Overall performance is good, but the phone is still underpowered compared to its top competition
Camera
- Decent camera
- Average camera
Audio
- Loudspeaker is not particularly loud, and having it on the back makes it cumbersome still
Battery
- Great battery life (can easily last over a day)
More
- Useful "Ultra Power Saving" mode
