Design
- Classy metal-slab Sony design
- Good fingerprint scanner
Display
- Decent display with excellent numbers for brightness and contrast
- The display is decent but sunlight legibility and color rendition could have been better
Software
- Vanilla Android UI with the most subtle of Sony customizations will please purists, and keeps things nice and simple
Performance
- Good performance, backed by the Helio P20 (comparable to other mid-range chipsets - Exynos 7870, Snapdragon 625 or Kirin 658)
Camera
- Decent 23MP rear camera - delivers reasonable detail, pleasing colors and wide dynamic range
- The 8MP front-facing shooter is decent too - it captures nicely detailed selfies with decent dynamic range and true to life skin tones
- Video recording performance of the camera is not the best - detail is on the low side, and there is no support for 4K videos
Audio
- Good single loudspeaker - pumps out more than enough decibels
Battery
- Great battery life - one of the best in this price bracket - will comfortably last the day even with heavy use
