Design
- Compact, smart looking, premium design with a metal build - very similar to the Redmi Note 3, but more easy to handle (because of the smaller size)
- Excellent ergonomics, with the curves on the back making the phone very comfortable to hold
- Light-weight with an excellent weight distribution, despite the large battery it holds inside
Display
- Nice, vibrant, and bright display, with excellent touch-responsiveness, and good viewing angles
Software
- MIUI is a one of the better Android skins around
Performance
- Good speed/performance (though multi-tasking performance is a notch below the Redmi 3s Prime because of lesser RAM)
Camera
- Decent camera
- Camera is decent, and almost at par with the more expensive Redmi Note 3, but still could have been better, especially with low light performance
Audio
- Loudspeaker volume could have been better
Battery
- Excellent battery life - easily lasts a day and a half in regular use
