Design
- Looks plush in terms of design, thanks to a 3D mirror finish on the back - generally seen on higher-end phones
- The selfie camera doubles as face recognition sensor to unlock the screen and it works fairly well to do it
- No fingerprint scanner
Display
- Good, modern 18:9 display - the screen looks sharp and has good colour reproduction
Performance
- Powered by a rather modest Mediatek quad core processor, the phone shows lag if there are multiple apps running in the background - there are better performing phones available in this segment
Camera
- Decent set of dual cameras at the back - does reasonably well in daylight (although it struggles in low light)
- Decent front camera too, with LED flash
Battery
- Good battery life - comfortably lasts the day
More
- One of the few phones, especially in this price segment, that supports Dual active, Dual sim 4G with VoLTE - which means an individual can use 4G connections on both SIM cards without having to swap the slots
- On the whole, the iVOOMi i2 is a pretty decent phone for this price bracket, but might find it tough to compete with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Honor 7A
