Design
- Premium design with a glass back - one of the rare premium-looking smartphones in the ultra-budget range - both the Blue and Black colour options look attractive
- Comfortable to hold in your hands - does not feel big or slippery
- Does tend to pick up smudges easily, so you might want to use a case
Display
- Decent, big, immersive, 6.2-inch HD+ fullscreen 'notch' display - the colours look nice and the viewing angles are decent
- Outdoor visibility is not that great - the screen is reflective in nature, which makes it difficult to read the text in direct sunlight
Software
- ColorOS is not the most refined, clean, or intuitive Android UI
- The transition animation on the phone too is not very smooth and you can see a bit of jitter when switching from one app to another app
Performance
- Good performance for this price bracket - backed by a solid Snapdragon 450 - you will face no issues when it comes to handling daily tasks like WhatsApp, Facebook, streaming music or watching a video
Camera
- Decent dual rear camera setup for the price - color reproduction and detailing are decent in good light, portrait shots are ok too - though low light performance is pretty ordinary
- Decent selfie camera too - with a decent portrait mode - again, as long as lighting conditions are good
Audio
- Decent speaker - produces a loud sound, which is enough for a small room (the bass and mids are not so great though, expectedly)
Battery
- Very good battery life - with a 4230mAh battery, the battery will last one and a half days with moderate use - this is easily one of the best battery life phones in the budget segment
More
- Dual 4G VoLTE support
- Overall, Realme C1 is one of the most premium-looking smartphones in this price bracket, and will give stiff competition to the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 6A, Infinix Smart 2 and others
